Alashkert FC triumphed over Urartu in a fantastic win on Friday, 4x2, relating to matchweek 7 of the Armenian League. To this matchweek, Vahe Gevorgyan's team came from three wins, and Dmitry Gunko's team came from two wins.
The first-half ended with a goalless draw.
The opening goal was scored by David Khurtsidze in the 54th minute. After 69 minutes, Levan Kutalia fired home Alashkert FC second goal. With 78 minutes on the clock, Mikayel Mirzoyan struck for Urartu, from the penalty spot. In the closing stages of the game, Vahe Gevorgyan's team increased their lead with a goal from Mimito Biai. In time added on, Arman Ghazaryan scored the second goal for Dmitry Gunko's team. Agdon Menezes netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game.
After the result Alashkert FC are 2nd in the table, with 16 points, while Urartu sit 4th place, with 13 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Vahe Gevorgyan's team will play at home against Ararat Yerevan, while Dmitry Gunko's team will host FC Van.
