Benfica stumble to defeat against Lyon

Lyon triumphed over Benfica in a close win on Tuesday, 1-2, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the Women Champions League.

The first goal was scored by Andreia Faria in the 43rd minute, with a right-foot strike.

After 63 minutes, Delphine Cascarino fired home for Lyon, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area. Sara Däbritz scored the winner after 79 minutes through a header.

In the next fixture, Lyon will play at home against Benfica.
