FC Köln handed lesson by Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg beat FC Köln, 1x4, on Saturday, in a game related to matchweek 9 of Bundesliga Women. Coming into the contest, Daniel Weber's team came from a draw, and Tommy Stroot's team came from two wins.

The first goal of the game was scored by Svenja Huth, after 21 minutes. With 25 minutes on the clock, Anna Gerhardt fired home for FC Köln. Shortly before the interval, Dominique Bloodworth-Janssen scored the second goal for Wolfsburg, from the penalty spot.

After 53 minutes, Tommy Stroot's team increased their lead with a goal from Vivien Endemann. Vivien Endemann reaching the landmark of five goals for the season. In the 85th minute, Joelle Wedemeyer wrapped things up.

After the result Wolfsburg are 2nd in the table, with 22 points, while FC Köln sit 9th place, with 10 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Tommy Stroot's team will host Werder Bremen, whilst Daniel Weber's team will host SGS Essen.
