Palestino thump Nacional on penalties

Nacional edged out Palestino, 1-3, on Tuesday, in a match relating of the Copa Libertadores. Pablo Sánchez's team beat Juan Pumpido 's team, 2-0, in the first leg of the tie.

After 10 minutes, Juan Alfaro wasted the chance to score. The first goal was scored by Diego Duarte shortly before the interval. With this goal, Diego Duarte recorded his five goal of the current campaign.

After the break, Gaona Lugo scored the second goal for Nacional. With 67 minutes on the clock, Juan Pumpido 's team increased their lead with a goal from Juan Alfaro. Cristián Suárez netted the last goal in the 84th minute.

Thanks to this result, Palestino are through to the next round of the competition.
