Paykan FC overcame Sepahan in a close win on Friday, 2-3, on to matchday 19 of the Persian Gulf League. Coming into the contest, José Morais's team came from three defeats, and Gholamreza Enayati's team came from three draws. Mohammad Hossein made a tremendous game.
The first goal was scored by Farshad Ahmadzadeh early in the game. With his 5th goal of the season. After 16 minutes, Mohammad Hossein struck for Paykan FC. With 45 minutes already played, forward fired home Gholamreza Enayati's team second goal.
After 50 minutes, Bryan Dabo left the game early after seeing a red card. Sepahan scored their second goal of the game through Reza Asadi, with 54 minutes on the clock. Ali Ghorbani scored the winner after 74 minutes.
After the result Sepahan are 5th in the table, with 31 points, while Paykan FC sit 13th place, with 18 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Gholamreza Enayati's team will host Malavan FC, while José Morais's team will play away against Foolad FC.
