Japan defeated United States of America in a win on Wednesday, 1x3, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the U-20 Women's World Cup.
The first-half ended with a goalless draw.
The opening goal was scored by Manaka Matsukubo after 55 minutes. With 67 minutes on the clock, Shinomi Koyama doubled the lead for Japan.
