U18 Premier League: Liverpool run out winners versus Stoke City

Liverpool overcame Stoke City in a close win on Saturday, 3x2, on to matchday 8 of the U18 Premier League. To this matchday, Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's team came from two wins, and Richard Walker's team came from a defeat. Trent Kone-Doherty was the star with 2 goals.

The opening goal was scored by Jayden Danns after 9 minutes. In the 11th minute, Nathan Lowe struck for Stoke City. Liverpool scored their second goal of the game through Trent Kone-Doherty, after 19 minutes.

After the result Liverpool are 2nd in the table, with 15 points, while Stoke City sit 3rd place, with 12 points. With regard to the next fixture, Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's team visit Wolverhampton, whilst Richard Walker's team will play away against Sunderland.
