CD Mafra beat Portimonense in a fantastic win on Thursday, 2x4, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup.
The first goal of the game was scored by Rodrigo Martins, with a right-foot shot from outside the penalty box, early in the game. With 16 minutes on the clock, Gui Ferreira doubled the lead for CD Mafra, from the penalty spot. After 32 minutes, Shoya Nakajima struck for Portimonense, laid on by Carlinhos. With 36 minutes on the clock, Ricardo Sousa's team extended their lead with a goal from Pedro Lucas through a header inside the box.
In the 71st minute, Mafra's team increased their lead with a goal from Bura from the penalty spot. Aylton Boa Morte netted the last goal deep into added time with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area.
With this result, CD Mafra are through to the next round of the competition.
