Northern Ireland beat Kosovo in close encounter

Northern Ireland defeated Kosovo, 2x1, on Saturday, on matchweek 5. Coming into the contest, Northern Ireland's national team came from a draw, and Kosovo's national team came from a defeat.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The opening goal was scored by Vedat Muriqi in the 58th minute. After 77 minutes, key moment of the game, when Gavin Whyte came on. With 82 minutes on the clock, forward fired home for Northern Ireland, assisted by Shayne Lavery. Josh Magennis scored the winning goal in the final minutes of the game.
