Club Brugge get the better of KV Mechelen

Club Brugge beat KV Mechelen, 3x0, on Saturday, in a game relating to matchweek 10. To this matchweek, Brugge's team came from a defeat, and Mechelen's team came from a draw. Jorge Hernández didn't leave the bench.

With 37 minutes on the clock, Ferrán Jutglà opened the scoring for Club Brugge, laid on by Kamal Sowah.

Carl Hoefkens's team scored their second goal of the game through Eduard Sobol, after 53 minutes. Tajon Buchanan netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game.

After the result Club Brugge are 3rd in the table, with 22 points, while KV Mechelen sit 12th place, with 11 points. With regard to the next fixture, Carl Hoefkens's team will play at home against Westerlo, whilst Danny Buijs's team will host Anderlecht.
