Juniores A 1ª Div.: Benfica defeat Rio Ave

Benfica edged out Rio Ave in a fantastic win on Friday, 4x0, relating to matchday 12 of Juniores A 1ª Div.. Before this matchday, Luís Araújo's team came from a win, and Tiago Ribeiro's team came from two defeats.

The first goal was scored by José Müller after 9 minutes. In the 26th minute, Diogo Prioste fired home Benfica second goal. With 45 minutes already played, encarnados increased their lead with a goal from Ricardo Marques. 

Hugo Félix netted the last goal after 53 minutes.

After the result Benfica are 2nd in the table, with 24 points, while Rio Ave sit 8th place, with 4 points. With regard to the next fixture, Lisboa's team visit FC Alverca. Meanwhile, Vila do Conde's team will host Sporting.
