SJ Earthquakes beat Seattle Sounders on penalties

Seattle Sounders and SJ Earthquakes drew 2x2 in a match on Wednesday, in a match relating of US Open Cup.

Jack Skahan opened the score in the 10th minute, from the penalty spot.

After 50 minutes, Cade Cowell doubled the lead for SJ Earthquakes. It was his 5th goal of the season.  with 54 minutes on the clock, Jimmy Medranda fired home for Seattle Sounders. Fredy Montero netted the last goal in the 77th minute.

Thanks to this result, SJ Earthquakes are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Alex Covelo's team visit Sacramento Republic.
