Levante defeated Rayo Vallecano by 2x4

Levante overcame Rayo Vallecano, 2x4, on Friday, relating to matchday 38 of La Liga. To this matchday, Madrid's team came from two defeats, and Valencia's team came from a win. Gonzalo Melero made a tremendous game.

Álvaro García opened the score after 18 minutes. After 26 minutes, Gonzalo Melero fired home for Levante, laid on by Marcelo Saracchi. In the 44th minute, Roger Martí struck the second goal for Alessio Lisci 's team, assisted by José Luis Morales.  with 45 minutes already played, Gonzalo Melero doubled the lead for Valencia's team. 

Rayo Vallecano scored their second goal of the game through Sergi Guardiola, in the 61st minute, from the penalty spot. It was his 10th goal of the season.  Coke netted the last goal in the 76th minute.

After the result Rayo Vallecano are 12th in the table, with 42 points, while Levante sit 19th place, with 35 points.
