Portuguese U14 Champ.: Benfica beat SC Braga

Benfica beat SC Braga, 4x2, on Thursday, relating to matchday 8 of Portuguese U14 Champ.. To this matchday, Tiago Pina's team came from a win, and César Silva's team came from a draw.

Edgar Mota opened the score after 13 minutes. After 37 minutes, Eduardo Fernandes struck for Benfica. Encarnados scored their second goal of the game through Duarte Soares, shortly before the interval. 

With 50 minutes on the clock, Lisboa's team extended their lead with a goal from Afonso Jesus.  after 60 minutes, Rui Silva left the game early after seeing a red card. In the 79th minute, Tomas Gomes struck the second goal for SC Braga.  after 80 minutes, Diogo Martins wrapped things up.

After the result Benfica are 2nd in the table, with 15 points, while SC Braga sit 5th place, with 7 points. Next up, Tiago Pina's team will host Vitória SC, whilst César Silva's team will play at home against Académica OAF.
