Memphis 901 run out winners versus Phoenix Rising

Memphis 901 edged out Phoenix Rising in a win on Saturday, 3x1, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the USL Championship.

Phillip Goodrum opened the score in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Memphis 901 extended their lead with a goal from Rece Buckmaster. After 37 minutes, Kevon Lambert fired home for Phoenix Rising, assisted by Aodhan Quinn.

With 82 minutes on the clock, Ryan Flood left his team with 10-man, after seeing a direct red card. In the final minutes of the game, Graham Smith netted the final goal of the game, assisted by Aaron Molloy.

In the next fixture, Memphis 901 will play at home against Louisville City, whilst Phoenix Rising visit Louisville City.
