Young Boys get the better of FC Zurich

Young Boys hammered FC Zurich in a fantastic win on Saturday, 4x0, on to matchday 1 of the Swiss Super League. Both Bern's team and Zürich's team played their first game in the competition.

With 54 minutes on the clock, Antonio Marchesano missed the spot-kick. Christian Fassnacht opened the score after 62 minutes. Young Boys scored their second goal of the game through Cedric Itten, in the 77th minute, assisted by Cheikh Niasse . After 80 minutes, Fabian Rieder doubled the lead for Bern's team. With 85 minutes on the clock, Wilfried Kanga netted the final goal of the game, assisted by Christian Fassnacht.

After the result Young Boys are 1st in the table, with 3 points, while FC Zurich sit 10th place, with 0 points. Next up, Bern's team visit FC Sion, while Zürich's team will host Luzern.
