CSD Municipal move on to the next round of Liga CONCACAF

CSD Municipal edged out Atlético Vega Real in a superb win on Thursday, 5x0, in a match relating of the Liga CONCACAF. Juan Torres's team beat Edward Acevedo's team, 4x0, in the first leg of the tie.

Antonio López opened the score with 22 minutes on the clock. After 43 minutes, Matias Rotondi scored the second goal for CSD Municipal, from the penalty spot. After 44 minutes, Guatemala's team extended their lead with a goal from Rudy Barrientos .

In the 68th minute, Juan Torres's team increased their lead with a goal from Milciades Portillo from the penalty spot. With 78 minutes on the clock, John Méndez wrapped things up.

With this result, CSD Municipal are through to the next round of the competition.
