Nice celebrate narrow win over Lille

Nice beat Lille, 1x2, on Wednesday, on matchday 5. In this competition, Lille's team came from a win, and Nice's team came from two defeats.

After 20 minutes, Jonathan Bamba opened the scoring for Lille, laid on by Yusuf Yazici. With 22 minutes on the clock, Andy Delort fired home for Nice, from the penalty spot. Nicolas Pépé netted the last goal in the 29th minute from the penalty spot.

After the result Lille are 8th in the table, with 7 points, while Nice sit 15th place, with 5 points. In their next fixture, Nice's team will play at home against Monaco, whilst Lille's team will play away against Montpellier.
