Indy Eleven celebrate narrow win over Birmingham Legion

Indy Eleven overcame Birmingham Legion in a fantastic win on Saturday, 4x3, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the USL Championship. Neveal Hackshaw runned the show.

In the 11th minute, Neveal Hackshaw opened the scoring for Indy Eleven, laid on by Solomon Asanté. After 16 minutes, Neveal Hackshaw struck the second goal for Mark Lowry's team, assisted by Solomon Asanté. With 31 minutes on the clock, Juan Tejada doubled the lead for Indianapolis's team. With 35 minutes on the clock, Birmingham Legion saw Enzo Martínez miss a penalty. In the 35th minute, forward fired home for Khano Smith's team.

After 62 minutes, Marlon fired home Birmingham, Al's team second goal, laid on by Enzo Martínez. After 71 minutes, Marlon struck for Birmingham Legion, laid on by Sadik Balarabe. With 78 minutes on the clock, Stéfano Pinho scored the last goal of the match, assisted by Solomon Asanté. With this goal, Stéfano Pinho reached the landmark of ten goals this season.

In the next fixture, Indy Eleven visit Monterey Bay, while Birmingham Legion will host Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
