Nottingham Forest edged out by Fulham

Fulham beat Nottingham Forest in a close win on Friday, 2x3, on to matchday 8 of the Premier League . In this competition, Nottingham's team came from three defeats, and London's team came from a defeat.

After 11 minutes, Taiwo Awoniyi opened the scoring for Nottingham Forest, laid on by Ryan Yates.

In the 54th minute, Kenny Tete fired home for Fulham, assisted by Willian. With 57 minutes on the clock, João Palhinha scored the second goal for Marco Silva's team, laid on by Kenny Tete. In the 60th minute, London's team increased their lead with a goal from Harrison Reed. With 77 minutes on the clock, Lewis O´Brien wrapped things up.

After the result Fulham are 6th in the table, with 11 points, while Nottingham Forest sit 19th place, with 4 points. With regard to the next fixture, Marco Silva's team will host Newcastle. Meanwhile, Steve Cooper's team will play away against Leicester City.
