Napoli edge past Milan

Napoli triumphed over Milan, 1x2, on Sunday, on to matchday 7 of the Serie A. In this competition, both teams came from two wins.

After the break, Sergiño Dest came on. After 55 minutes, Matteo Politano opened the scoring for Napoli, from the penalty spot. In the 69th minute, Olivier Giroud struck for Milan, laid on by Theo Hernández. Giovanni Simeone netted the last goal with 78 minutes on the clock.

After the result Napoli are 1st in the table, with 17 points, while Milan sit 5th place, with 14 points. With regard to the next fixture, Luciano Spalletti's team will host Torino, whilst Stefano Pioli's team will play away against Empoli.
