Borussia Dortmund beat RB Leipzig in close encounter

Borussia Dortmund triumphed over RB Leipzig, 2x1, on Friday, on to matchday 23 of the 1. Bundesliga. In this competition, Edin Terzic's team came from four wins, and Marco Rose's team came from two wins.

The opening goal was scored by Marco Reus in the 21st minute, from the penalty spot. With 39 minutes on the clock, Emre Can struck the second goal for Borussia Dortmund.

Emil Forsberg netted the last goal after 74 minutes.

After the result Borussia Dortmund are 1st in the table, with 49 points, while RB Leipzig sit 4th place, with 42 points. In their next fixture, Edin Terzic's team will play away against Schalke 04, whilst Marco Rose's team will play at home against Borussia M´gladbach.
