Independiente Medellín defeated Metropolitanos FC in a fantastic win on Wednesday, 4x2, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the Copa Libertadores.
In a very unlucky moment, Carlos Gruezo scored an own-goal early in the game. In an unlucky moment Daniel Londoño scored an own goal in the 15th minute. With 25 minutes on the clock, Andrés Cadavid fired home Independiente Medellín second goal. After 34 minutes, David González's team increased their lead with a goal from Miguel Monsalve. Shortly before the interval, Luciano Pons doubled the lead for Independiente Medellín.
In the closing stages of the game, Jhon Marchán netted the final goal of the game.
With regard to the next fixture, Independiente Medellín will play at home against Nacional, while Metropolitanos FC will host Internacional.
