Motherwell stumble to defeat against Rangers

Rangers triumphed over Motherwell in a close win on Saturday, 2-1, on to matchday 2 of the Scottish Premiership. In this competition, both teams came from a draw.

The opening goal was scored by Cyriel Dessers in the 13th minute. In an unlucky moment Robin Propper scored an own goal after 17 minutes. Václav Cerny scored the winning goal after 24 minutes.

After the result Rangers are 2nd in the table, with 4 points, while Motherwell sit 8th place, with 1 point. Next up, Philippe Clément's team will play at home against Ross County. Meanwhile, Stuart Kettlewell's team will host Hearts.
