Nice triumphed over Montpellier, 1x4, on Wednesday, in a match relating to the Last 16 of the French Cup.
The first goal was scored by Youssouf Ndayishimiye with 29 minutes on the clock. Nice scored their second goal of the game through Tom Louchet, after 37 minutes. In the 39th minute, Francesco Farioli's team extended their lead with a goal from Mohamed-Ali Cho.
With 62 minutes on the clock, Claude-Maurice doubled the lead for Nice, from the penalty spot. After 74 minutes, Montpellier saw Junior Ndiaye miss a penalty. Modibo Sagnan netted the last goal after 75 minutes.
Thanks to this result, Nice are through to the next round of the competition.
