These are the clubs nominated for Club of the Year, in both men's and women's

France Football magazine announced this Wednesday afternoon its usual nominees for the Ballon d'Or awards, and one of the awards concerns the Best Men's and Women's World Club.

In men's football, the clubs nominated for this award are Bayer Leverkusen, the reigning German champions, Real Madrid, the Spanish champions and Champions League winners, Manchester City, the reigning English champions, Borussia Dortmund, the runners-up of the last Champions League edition, and Girona, the sensation team of the Spanish league in 2023/24, which finished in 3rd place.

In women's football, the clubs nominated this year are Barcelona, the Spanish champions and winners of the last Champions League edition, Lyon, the French champions and runners-up of the last Champions edition, Chelsea, the reigning English champions, Paris SG, 2nd place in the last French league edition, and the American team NY/NJ Gotham, where the Portuguese Jéssica Silva now plays.

The award ceremony will take place on October 28, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. A total of 10 awards will be given, with highlights to the men's and women's Ballon d'Or.
