SC Paderborn 07 edged out FC Ingolstadt 04, 2x1, on Monday, in a match relating of the DFB Pokal. Both Steffen Baumgart's team and Stefan Leitl's team held their first game in the competition. Uwe Hunemeier was on fire.
The first goal of the game was scored by Uwe Hunemeier, in the 34th minute. Shortly before the interval, SC Paderborn 07 increased their lead with a goal from defender.
Sonny Kittel netted the last goal after 76 minutes.
Thanks to this result, SC Paderborn 07 are through to the next round of the competition.
