The opening goal was scored by Lee Erwin after 3 minutes, from a corner. With 21 minutes on the clock, Shane Duffy fired home for Celtic, assisted by Ryan Christie. James Forrest netted the last goal in the 36th minute through a header inside the box.
Zdenek Zlamal kept his goal safe by saving the penalty after 75 minutes, taken by Odsonne Édouard.
After the result Celtic are 3rd in the table, with 7 points, while St. Mirren sit 7th place, with 3 points. In the next fixture, Glasgow's team will host Livingston. Meanwhile, Paisley's team visit Dundee United.
