Saint-Étienne lose out to Lyon

Lyon edged out Saint-Étienne in a close win on Sunday, 2x1, on matchday 10. In this competition, Lyon's team came from a draw, and Saint-Étienne's team came from five defeats. Tino Kadewere made a tremendous game.

In an unfortunate moment Anthony Lopes scored an own goal with 40 minutes on the clock.

Sub Tino Kadewere, in the 57th minute, changed the course of the game. After 65 minutes, forward fired home for Lyon, assisted by Maxwel Cornet. Tino Kadewere scored the winning goal after 74 minutes with a right-foot shot inside the box. In the 88th minute, Denis Bouanga wasted the chance to score.

After the result Lyon are 6th in the table, with 17 points, while Saint-Étienne sit 15th place, with 10 points. With regard to the next fixture, Rudi Garcia's team visit Angers, whilst Claude Puel's team will play away against Brest.
