With 63 minutes on the clock, Edenílson doubled the lead for Internacional, from the penalty spot. After 68 minutes, Matheus Peixoto fired home for Juventude, from the penalty spot. Rodinei netted the last goal in the 78th minute through a header.
Thanks to this result, Internacional are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Miguel Ángel Ramírez's team will host Grêmio.
