With 22 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo Gomes struck for Estoril Praia, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty box. Shortly before the interval, Marcos Leonardo fired home Benfica second goal, through a header.
In the 49th minute, Tiago Gouveia wrapped things up, with a right-foot strike inside the box.
After the result Benfica are 2nd in the table, with 61 points, while Estoril Praia sit 16th place, with 22 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Roger Schmidt's team will play away against Casa Pia AC, while Vasco Seabra's team will host Portimonense.
