Celtic edged out St. Mirren, 6-2, on Sunday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the Scottish FA Cup. Mikaël Mandron was the main player.
The opening goal was scored by Daizen Maeda early in the game. Shortly before the interval, Anthony Ralston fired home Celtic second goal.
With 53 minutes on the clock, Mikaël Mandron fired home for St. Mirren. In the closing stages of the game, forward struck the second goal for Craig McLeish's team.
In the final minutes of the game, Kelechi Iheanacho struck for Martin O´Neill's team. In the closing stages of the game, Celtic increased their lead with a goal from Luke McCowan. After 100 minutes, Martin O´Neill's team extended their lead with a goal from Kelechi Iheanacho. Benjamin Nygren netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game. With this strike, Benjamin Nygren reached 20th goals for the season.
Thanks to this result, Celtic are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Martin O´Neill's team will play against Dunfermline.
