        Stuttgart edge past SC Freiburg

        Stuttgart overcame SC Freiburg, 2-1, on Thursday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal.

        The opening goal was scored by Max Eggestein after 28 minutes, from a corner.

        With 70 minutes on the clock, Deniz Undav struck for Stuttgart, with a right-foot shot.

        Tiago Tomás scored the winning goal in the 119th minute with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box.
