        Al-Sadd get the better of Al-Shamal

        Al-Sadd beat Al-Shamal in a close win on Monday, 3-2, relating to matchweek 22 of the Liga Catar. In this competition, both teams came from a win.

        The opening goal was scored by Akram Afif in the 20th minute. With 22 minutes on the clock, Roberto Firmino fired home Al-Sadd second goal.

        After the break, Al-Shamal saw Abdessamed Bounacer get a straight red card in the 65th minute, Baghdad Bounedjah fired home for David Prats's team. With 68 minutes on the clock, Paulo Otávio doubled the lead for Roberto Mancini's team. After 85 minutes, Jeison Murillo wrapped things up.

        After the result Al-Sadd are 1st in the table, with 45 points, while Al-Shamal sit 2nd place, with 40 points.
