      Rennes lose out to Lyon

      Lyon overcame Rennes in a fantastic win on Sunday, 4-2, relating to matchweek 32 of the Ligue 1. Coming into the contest, Paulo Fonseca's team came from three wins, and Franck Haise's team came from four wins.

      The opening goal was scored by Moussa Al-Tamari with six minutes on the clock, with a left-foot shot inside the box. With 37 minutes on the clock, Roman Yaremchuk struck for Lyon, through a header inside the penalty area. Shortly before the interval, Corentin Tolisso scored the second goal for Paulo Fonseca's team, from the penalty spot. Corentin Tolisso now on a scoring streak of 3 consecutive games.

      After the break, Estéban Lepaul fired home Rennes second goal, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area. With 52 minutes on the clock, Afonso Moreira fired home for Lyon, with a right-foot shot. After 75 minutes, Endrick netted the final goal of the game, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box.

      After the result Lyon are 3rd in the table, with 60 points, while Rennes sit 5th place, with 56 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Paulo Fonseca's team will play away against Toulouse. Meanwhile, Franck Haise's team will host Paris FC.
