Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Tottenham, 1-3, on Friday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the U23 Premier League.

With 57 minutes on the clock, Shane Nti fired home Brighton & Hove Albion second goal. After 59 minutes, Mason Melia fired home for Tottenham, from the penalty spot. Kofi Shaw netted the last goal after 79 minutes.

With this result, Brighton & Hove Albion are into the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Shannon Ruth's team will host Manchester United.
