Instituto triumphed over Lanús, 2-1, on Saturday, in a match relating of the Copa Argentina.
With 36 minutes on the clock, Jhon Córdoba opened the scoring for Instituto.
After 53 minutes, Diego Flores's team saw Fernando Alarcón get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Izquierdoz saw a red card after receiving his second yellow in the 79th minute, Lucas Besozzi struck for Lanús. Jeremías Lázaro netted the last goal in time added on. After seeing his second yellow card in the closing stages of the game, Hernán De La Fuente was sent off and left Instituto with 10-man. Deep into added time, Lucas Besozzi left his team with 10-man, after seeing a direct red card.
With this result, Instituto are through to the next round of the competition.
