      Peñarol emerge victorious against CA Cerro

      Peñarol beat CA Cerro in a close win on Sunday, 0-1, in a match relating of the Uruguay League.

      With 20 minutes on the clock, Facundo Batista could have scored for Peñarol, but Yonatan Irrazábal has brilliantly saved the penalty. The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

      Abel Hernández scored the winning goal after 57 minutes.

      In relation to forthcoming league matches, Peñarol will play away against Racing. Meanwhile, CA Cerro visit Liverpool Montevideo.
