      Shimizu S-Pulse Triumphs in J. League Cup Match Against Sagamihara

      Shimizu S-Pulse defeated Sagamihara in a win on Wednesday, 1-3, in a match relating of the J. League Cup. Both Yuki Richard Stalph's team and Tadahiro Akiba's team held their first game in the competition.

      In a very unlucky moment, Daiki Nakashio scored an own-goal in the 30th minute.

      After 83 minutes, Shimizu S-Pulse extended their lead with a goal from Kengo Kitazume. With 85 minutes on the clock, Tadahiro Akiba's team increased their lead with a goal from Yuji Doi. Deep into added time, Takato Takeuchi scored the last goal of the match.

      With this result, Shimizu S-Pulse are into the next round of the competition.
