Matsumoto Yamaga Secures Victory and Advances in J. League Cup

Matsumoto Yamaga beat Sagan Tosu, 1-0, on Wednesday, in a match relating of the J. League Cup. Both Tomonobu Hayakawa's team and Akio Kogiku's team held their first game in the competition.

The first half came to an end without goals.

After seeing his second yellow card in the final minutes of the game, Vykintas Slivka was sent off and left Sagan Tosu with 10-man.

In the closing stages of the game, Sora Tanaka scored the winning goal, from the penalty spot.

Thanks to this result, Matsumoto Yamaga are through to the next round of the competition.
