Hiroya Sueki opened the score after five minutes. In the 15th minute, Taishi Taguchi struck for JEF United. With 22 minutes on the clock, Shosei Usui scored the second goal for Kataller Toyama.
With 52 minutes on the clock, forward doubled the lead for Michiharu Otagiri's team. After 62 minutes, Takayuki Mae fired home Yoshiyuki Kobayashi's team second goal. Shosei Usui completed the hat-trick, in the 66th minute.
With this result, Kataller Toyama are into the next round of the competition.
