Fukushima United overcame Consadole Sapporo in a fantastic win on Wednesday, 6-3, in a match relating of the J. League Cup. Both Shuhei Terada's team and Daiki Iwamasa's team held their first game in the competition. Uheiji Uehata made a tremendous game.

In the closing stages of the game, Kanta Jojo fired home for Shuhei Terada's team. In the final minutes of the game, Fukushima United increased their lead with a goal from Uheiji Uehata. Hayate Toma netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game.
With this result, Fukushima United are through to the next round of the competition.
