      Avispa Fukuoka Advances in J. League Cup After Intense Match Against Kataller Toyama

      Avispa Fukuoka triumphed over Kataller Toyama in a close win on Wednesday, 1-2, in a match relating of the J. League Cup.

      After 11 minutes, Ichika Maeda opened the scoring for Avispa Fukuoka, from the penalty spot. Kim Myung-Hwi 's team scored their second goal of the game through Hiroki Akino, with 40 minutes on the clock.

      Yoshiki Takahashi netted the last goal after 66 minutes.

      With this result, Avispa Fukuoka are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Kim Myung-Hwi 's team will host Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
