      Plymouth Argyle Advances in EFL League Cup After Exciting Victory Over QPR

      Plymouth Argyle overcame QPR in a close win on Tuesday, 3-2, in a match relating of the EFL League Cup. Both Tom Cleverley's team and Julien Stéphan's team held their first game in the competition. Owen Oseni was the main player.

      Daniel Bennie opened the score with 21 minutes on the clock. In the 26th minute, Jamie Paterson missed the spot-kick. Shortly before the interval, Rayan Kolli fired home QPR second goal.

      After the break, Brendan Wiredu fired home for Plymouth Argyle. In the 54th minute, Owen Oseni scored the second goal for Tom Cleverley's team. With 78 minutes on the clock, forward netted the final goal of the game.

      With this result, Plymouth Argyle are into the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Tom Cleverley's team will play away against Swansea City.
