      Barnsley Advances in EFL League Cup, Setting Stage for Exciting Next Round

      Barnsley defeated Rotherham in a close win on Tuesday, 2-1, in a match relating of the EFL League Cup.

      The first goal of the game was scored by Ar’jany Martha, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area, after 19 minutes.

      In the 59th minute, Jon Russell fired home for Barnsley, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box. Adam Phillips scored the winner with 68 minutes on the clock with a right-foot shot.

      With this result, Barnsley are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Conor Hourihane's team will host Brighton & Hove Albion.
