Fulham Advances in EFL League Cup, Overcoming Bristol City in Opening Match

Fulham edged out Bristol City in a win on Wednesday, 2-0, in a match relating of the EFL League Cup. Both Marco Silva's team and Gerhard Struber's team held their first game in the competition.

In an unlucky moment George Tanner scored an own goal with eight minutes on the clock. Raúl Jiménez netted the last goal after 21 minutes from a corner.

Thanks to this result, Fulham are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Marco Silva's team will host Cambridge United.
