Ashley Young could make his return to former club Watford with the Hornets reportedly 'exploring a deal' for the 40-year-old.
Young is now a free agent after leaving Everton after two seasons in which the former England international scored twice in 70 games for the Toffees.
According to journalist Alex Cook of TalkSport, the player is keen on returning to his boyhood club with the club also open to the move with the final decision resting with head coach Paulo Pezzolano.
Young began his career with the Hornets, making his debut for the club as an 18-year-old in 2003 before going on to make 110 appearances for the club.
Following his stint at Watford, Young went on to play for Manchester United, Internazionale, and two spells with Aston Villa, earning Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, and Serie A medals in the process.
