        Everton Announces Jack Grealish's Arrival

Jack Grealish has joined Everton on a season-long loan from Manchester City, with the deal including an option to make the move permanent for around $68 million (€57.7m).

City originally paid a British record $136 million to sign the midfielder from Aston Villa in 2021, tying him down to a six-year contract at the time.

During his time at the Etihad, Grealish has won three Premier League titles, a Champions League, the FA Cup, and the Club World Cup. He played a crucial role in City?s historic treble-winning season in 2022/23, making 50 appearances across all competitions and starting every Champions League knockout match.

Last season, however, opportunities were scarce as the 29-year-old started just 16 of his 32 appearances in all competitions.

At the Toffees, Grealish will wear the No. 18 jersey and becomes David Moyes? sixth summer signing, following the permanent acquisition of Carlos Alcaraz and the arrivals of Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, Adam Aznou, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Speaking to evertontv, Grealish expressed, "I'm thrilled to have signed for Everton - it's a huge deal for me, honestly. This club has incredible fans.

"Once I talked to the manager, I knew there was only one place I wanted to be. On social media, I've been overwhelmed with messages from Everton supporters, which also played a part in my decision and that's another reason why I chose Everton.

"I want to thank the fans for all the messages I've received already. Thank you for all the love and support. I hope I can repay you now and I'm confident I will."
