Liverpool Montevideo defeated Danubio in a win on Saturday, 3-0, on to matchday 14 of the Uruguay League. To this matchday, Jorge Fossati's team came from a draw, and Gustavo Matosas's team came from a win.

After 58 minutes, Federico Martínez opened the scoring for Liverpool Montevideo. With 67 minutes on the clock, Sebastián Fernández left the game early after seeing a red card. Jorge Fossati's team scored their second goal of the game through Ramiro Degregorio, after 71 minutes. Facundo Barceló netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game from the penalty spot.
