NK Varazdin defeated NK Osijek in a win on Saturday, 4x1, on to matchday 14 of the Croatia League. To this matchday, NK Varazdin came from two defeats, and Nenad Bjelica's team came from five wins.
The first goal of the game was scored by László Kleinheisler , with 18 minutes on the clock. After 32 minutes, Ivan Posavec fired home for NK Varazdin. With 35 minutes on the clock, Agon Elezi scored the second goal for NK Varazdin. In a very unlucky moment, Ivica Ivusic scored an own-goal in the 41st minute.
Deep into added time, Niko Domjanic wrapped things up.
After the result NK Osijek are 3rd in the table, with 24 points, while NK Varazdin sit 5th place, with 19 points. Next up, NK Varazdin visit HNK Sibenik, whilst Nenad Bjelica's team will host Dinamo Zagreb.
